Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound
Women face a variety of pregnancy decisions. Having a Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound will provide you with three important pieces of information critical to your pregnancy decision. During your ultrasound, you will see where the pregnancy is located, how far along you are, and if there is a heartbeat. All ultrasounds are read by a Physician to make a diagnosis.
What Is an ultrasound?
An ultrasound is a diagnostic test that uses high frequency sound waves to determine pregnancy. Performing an ultrasound exam during pregnancy is a safe and painless procedure. The ultrasound uses no radiation exposure.
How Do I Get An Ultrasound?
Ultrasound exams are performed only when medically indicated. In order to have an ultrasound, you will need to have a positive pregnancy test and medical consultation with one of our Registered Nurses at Dove Medical. Limited Obstetrical Ultrasounds do not determine gender. All results will be read by one of our Physicians.
